Snapper are one of the most abundant species of fish in the Florida keys. Inhabiting all kinds of structures, from the mangroves, to the wrecks and reefs, they are are all throughout our waters.
There are many different kinds of snapper including Mangrove snapper, Mutton snapper, Lane snapper, Yellow tail snapper and more. All of which are great to eat, unlike the hard to catch game fish such as permit or bonefish. Snapper fishing is fun and can be easy once they are chummed up to the boat.
With their aggressive feeding behavior and great fight, the rods are sure to be bending all day!
Fishing for Jack Crevalle in the Florida Keys is awesome! One of the more aggressive fish found in Florida, they will eat a bait before it even hits the water.
